1. Is Clifford Film Academy a film school?
Yes. Clifford Film Academy is a film school in Juba, South Sudan focused on filmmaking, photography, graphic design, and digital media production.
2. When will the academy officially open?
We will open our first intake in Nov/Dec, 2027.During our pre-launch phase, we are building partnerships, developing programs, and preparing for the official launch.
3. What courses will be offered?
Clifford Film Academy plans to offer short courses in:Film Production,Film Directing,Screenwriting and Storyboarding, Cinematography,Lighting for Film and Video,Sound Engineering,Photography,Graphic Design,Branding and Digital Media Design,Acting for Film
4.What are the course entry requirements?
Most short courses are designed for beginners and aspiring creatives who should have basic computer, reading and writing skills, an interest in film or creative arts, a willingness to learn and participate in practical projects. You do not need expensive gear to start; we provide access to production equipment and software during your training.
5.How much will the courses cost?
Our tuition fee will be finalised closer to our launch. By contacting us now, you will pay in exclusive discounts reserved only for our founding community.
6. How long are the courses?
Most courses are designed as short-term training programs lasting approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on the course schedule and learning objectives.
7.Are there currently any students enrolled at Clifford Film academy?
Yes.While the academy is still in its pre-launch phase, a small number of students have already begun training in Graphic design as apart of our early learning and pilot programs.
8. Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Yes. Applicants who successfully complete their course requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion from Clifford Film Academy.
9.Can I book media and film production services before the official launch?
Yes.While we launch production services next year, our commercial media team is fully operational and currently accepting select event videography, photography, and graphic design client bookings
10.How can I donate equipment, partner or sponsor a workshop?
We welcome partners, software sponsorships, and gear donations. Please visit our Support Page or reach out directly to see our current tech and studio needs
